Just a little curious, I quite often see vampiric bow recommended over an elemental based bow and wondered why. I use conjure lightning with my shock bow and therefore I'm currently getting +11 lightning with every arrow, combine this with barrage and thats a lot of damage across multiple mobs. What advantage does vamparic give in this situation ?

^ Vampiric deals 5 damage per arrow that is unaffected by armor, and does not require an additional skill to be useful.

the thing is that when you are in a good team that is using skills and spirits like favorable winds, winnoing, mark of paiin, order of pain and order of vampire and other stuff like that, the "physical" damage bow is dealing alot more damage, and with barrage, you self heal. its not only B/P groups, there is alot of team builds when physical damage is preferd to elemental.

but when you are kind of "alone" in a group of 5 wariors, elemental bow is better, because nost of the mobs dont have elemental absorbibg armors (only rangers maby) and you deal more damage, becuse you cant carry ALL of the buffs you need to deal a HUGE amount of damage

i have many bows, but in my 4 bows set, there is always a vamp bow and ele bow.

The problem with dedicating yourself to Vampiric is that against Warriors you lose alot of damage, since there armour gets a nice boost for Physical. Makes bringing Kindle Arrows great since you get the best of both worlds

Course against Rangers your worse off. So its always good to carry both

As Maria said, Orders only work with Physical Damage, shame really or Judges Insight would really hurt
